Safe for the patient donor
Since these cells are coming from the patient’s own body there is no risk of rejection. If the patient meets the criteria and is a good candidate for stem cell therapy, our PA will meet with the patient and review the procedure to address any questions or concerns. Every patient is different and therefore therapy outcomes will vary.

Less Invasive Treatment
Compared to surgical procedures for the hip, shoulders or knee, regenerative therapies are much simpler and much less invasive. These procedures are safe, effective and affordable.
An adult stem cell procedure typically takes one hour to complete the three basic steps:

1. Using a syringe, the PA withdraws a small amount of bone marrow from the patient’s hip.
2. The adult stem cells are separated from the rest of the bone marrow material.
3. The concentrated stem cells are returned to the body part that needs to heal.

Dr. Hermansdorfer collaborates with Rejuvenate Orthopedic and Regenerative medicine as he specializes in reconstructive surgery of the upper and lower extremities. He also performs a variety of arthroscopic and general orthopedic procedures, including arthroscopy of the knee. He has been awarded a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
